Define impossible.
Are you unable to change the setting in-game or they doesn't save when you re-launch the game?
If the setting isn't persisting you might have a read-only "config.wtf" file. Check in your WoW directory for the WTF folder or if it's not there check in %AppData%\Local\VirtualStore (press windows key + r for run then put that in there, the window should appear) and go into the WoW folder in there and check the WTF folder. If it is read-only, change that or if that's the only setting you want to change, open it in notepad and change the relevant setting you want off from whatever number to 0. I can't really be more specific since I don't play on MOP and I don't know exactly which setting name you're trying to change.
