Cant move launcher to desktop?

I just downloaded the torrent and wanted to move the launcher to my desktop but every time i do, i get the error below. I really dont want to wait 15 minutes just for the launcher to load every time. Can someone help me out? I would really appreciate it.

You should not move it but, right-click > Send to > desktop (shortcut)
