I guess you're asking what spec you should play as?
Both Marksmanship and Beast Mastery are great leveling specs. Since you sound new, I recommend you go Beast Mastery as that's a much more newbie friendly spec.
yes , wanna know spec , talents
What level are you ?
yet 24 , I would build for the future
I would go for this and then continue with Unleashed fury, Aspect mastery from BM then move to MM with Lethal Shots, Aimed shot, Improved Arcane and so on.
You can also make a macro to help you out, something like :
#showtoolip Hunter's Mark
/Hunter's Mark
/petattack
Use pet on passive, use auto attack and auto growl so that the pet keeps aggro all the time.
just roll BM get a gorilla pet around lvl40 and pull 7+mobs. EZ aoe farm.
dont forget to use thunderstomp on cd.
try to manage your aggro also.
this is the fastest, safest and the best lvling specc
Go Beast Master (BM) all the way to 80. Choose a Ferocity pet like wolf. ONLY choose talents that improve your pet's performance (i.e. making it more efficient killing machine).
Your pet becomes your tank and DPS for hard mobs/elites AND you get +8% to your Cheetah and mounted speed which is huge between levels 1-40. You barely have to take breaks between mobs/quests as BM.
Macro tip: create these macros for pulling and mob control:
/petpassive
^makes your pet nonreactive and returns him to you (avoids pulling more mobs).
/petattack
/petdefensive
^these in the same macro will attack your current target (allows pet to charge in before you do) and turn it back on defensive if it was on passive.
Happy huntin'.
P.S.
Marksmanship is bad until level 60 (Chimera shot) since you have a lot of downtime with health and mana and Aimed shot is just plain bad at low levels and more of a PVP/DPS filler skill.
Survival is also useless since it's not about traps and melee and dots when you level up, it's about efficiency. save these two specs for endgame!
