Streaming this nightmare of a DK starting zone... Come watch me spent the next two hours trying to interact with Koltira... http://twitch.tv/jyxi
What? Oh what? We both have alot of simarlities :O I am To****o, and you are Toshika I heard alot about you on the PTR Lordaeron when I was in the "Is a cookie" guild testing the vanilla zones, we both have alot of characters at lvl 1, and I have one at lvl 72 and another one (DK) at lvl 58. I saw you drinking a Monster drink, well guess what? that is my favourite drink, I like the Assault one, you were drinking the Energy one. I also like the Monster Java Moca Loca and the Monster Java Mean Bean. Dammit I also wanted to enter in your guild but I guess they are full of warriors too. My BELF called To****o used to be a Paladin, now a days he is a DK. Dammit I saw so much similarities on that vid alone xD I cant believe in it.
Because of the amount of people in Northrend... duh. Also yeah
When Lodaeron first launched did people complain about the rates, were rates adjusted? If not why would they be adjusted now? The "first" group in Northrend have essentially bottle necked themselves, it's not necessarily their fault but at the same time later groups that reach Northrrend later will more than likely encounter this less in other words this is a "temporary" situation. When you drive around town around 5 pm (when a majority of people are getting off work) traffic is expected to be heavier so essentially it is "5pm" now on the realm.
This is a disaster... When many players camp the same place and regular mobs have 5 mins respawn timer. No dynamic there.
Its not a hardcore. Its just extremely annoyance and fight for every single mob while spending good minutes trying to complete one single quest.
I don't think the term "hardcore" has been defined by staff (if it has I haven't seen it). I see having to push forward to complete tasks against the odds (other players) as "hardcore". Again, camping spots is a choice, if players wait around for respawns and someone else comes by and gets it/them it is the chance they take. Yes players want to complete quests but knowingly walking into an unfavorable situation expecting it to be different isn't rational. Do other less populated quests and come back, or, wait. Tweaking rates is not necessary, it is pretty much a selfish suggestion (my questing experience isn't as I want it so it should be changed).
Just bumping this because this is beyond frustrating right now
50% of a level in, 6 hours played time to this point in the level and 80% of the time spent on waiting for items/mobs/elites respawning.
The spawn rates just don't take into account that the population here is HUGE and there can be literally hundreds of people in the same levelling area.
It seems alot of people have been spoiled by retail wow catering to the whiners. Pro tip: when wrath originally released it wasn't a common thing to be able to blow through quests and get 70-80 super quick. First 80 on my realm when it originally launched (Korgath) took 3 days. And that was 3 days STRAIGHT played by a group of friends who all played the same character in rotation in order to have zero downtime.
Going to go with what Ive always been told when I get pissed at gankers/griefers, "Deal with it, it's apart of the game"
well 3 days after release was inefficent af
first (legit) level 80 was after 27hrs.
BUT the respawn on everything was so much better, just go to zuldrak/grizzly by yourself and wait 20mins till **** spawns
this has nothing to do with hardcore, the relation between players and spawntimers is just freaking bad
I spend way too much time looking around waiting for stuff to respawn, it's getting really boring after a while. Please increase the respawnrates, 1x xp rates is enough of a timesink already. At least give us the chance to be more active ingame.
