Cataclysm Missing info on a character

Hello!
I finally started playing wow after a long break, and ofc I wanted to name my new characters the same as the previous ones. Anyway, I found out one of my fav names was taken :(. Out of curiosity I decided to check who took the name, since it's kinda unusual (Patricide), so I checked the Armory...and found nothing. I can find every other character I currently have and every one I looked for, and I can add Patricide to my friend list, so I was just wondering why he/she doesn't show up when looked for in the Armory? I know it's not a big deal, it just got me curios.

Very low level characters don't show in the Armory.

The lowest character I looked for was level 45 I believe... yea, I guess it kinda makes sense not to show all the low levels :/

Can I ask just one more question, since I don't want to start a whole new topic about it? Does a character eventually get deleted if not played for a long period of time?
