WotLK Enh shield

Hello, i tryed using shield in pvp and noticed, that when i switch from offhand to shield, it proc's gcd. As far as i know it doesint for other classes like paladins or warriors. So im wondering is it ment to be like that or im just missing something?

The same happens for all classes, and the GCD when weapon-swapping in combat is intended.
