WotLK Shadow word: Pain & Mind Flay bug

Since it has been confirmed that Pain and suffering (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/step...aaain.png.html) actually RE-APPLIES Shadow word: Pain instead of simply refreshing its duration, thus causing a dps loss (SW:P doesn't tick), do we have a confirmed workaround to the issue?

> Note that the bug may have been fixed (December 2015 log) ONLY for Lordareon, but the other WoTLK severs do not have an entry for it in their logs.


To sum it up, my question/discussion prompt revolves around this :

Will dropping Pain and Suffering completely/partially actually bypass the issue, or are we doomed until the other WoTLK servers get some love from the staff?

This issue doesn't exist on the other WotLK servers. Mind Flay correctly refreshes the duration of SWP without resetting its tick timer, just as it should.

Yes, and that bug applies only to Lordaeron, because the entire Wrath of the Lich King section in the bug-tracker is exclusively for Lordaeron.

Have you played a Spriest on Ragnaros or Deathwing lately?
