I was just kind of thinking to myself; what if Warmane actually released their own WoW expansion? Just hear me out.... (and I seriously doubt they would or any other Pserver would for various reasons) but what if Warmane did in fact release a new expansion and let's say it pre-dates Cata and Post-dates WoTLK so it's kind of inbetween expansion expansion.
How would you guys feel about this? Would this work? What if it gave us a few new raid, continued off the WoTLk game client (no Cata or MoP talent system) and many other things stayed the same as it was in WoTLk with some new zones, maybe Hyjal opens up and we could see it before the Twilight cultist attacked it, maybe Twightlight Handlands and really delved deep into the classic lore and could see things shift from WotLK to Cataclysm.
I think this is a VERY far fetched idea, but It also has some merit and could be fun. What do you guys think?
P.S.
This is all hypothetical and not to be taken serious in any literal since. Just pure fantasy.
Ther's alot of threads and suggestions about custom content, hell even I have asked for it, like transmorg for wotlk, most of the times people just want the orininal, like it was. Making raids though is something very hard to do, and it takes blizzard quite some people to do it. warmane dosent really have the people for it.
The cow event is an old dungeon wich was suppose to be released but it never happend on retail, They still have the map in their database and thats why they could open it and put some mobs in there, but scripting the boss itself was probably the hardest part, even if it has 4 abilities, imagine the ammount of work it took. Making 12 bosses (similair to lets say icc and ulduar) would take a huge ammount of time, and I think they try to focus on fixing whats broken first. But maybe in the future, I think warmane will be around for long time to come.

This is why i said hypothetically, i wasn't actually expecting someone to expect warmane to make this happen. I was just wondering if anyone thinks Warmane understands the WoW player base better then Blizzard does these days.

Still way to serious....can we get past all this and just try and focus on the "what if"? I'm just wondering if anyone thinks if Warmane could have a better concept of an expansion these days then what Blizzard is doing.
Um theres another problem of that idea that shouldn't be ignored at all. If Warmane starts growing and hires more people and becomes capable of making an entire new expansion of the game, which becomes very popular and the chance of all this outcomes happening is, lets say close to zero, but even if all that happens, than Blizzard will definitely say "WTF some folks downloaded our game and released a new expansion for it and have stolen half of our players, lets sue them"

and yet again someone else misses the point of the thread lol.
As I am the OP of this thread I'd just like to point out that i said, "This is all hypothetical and not to be taken serious in any literal since. Just pure fantasy.".
