1. Do something about the lag

Lag at peak times is completely unbearable. The severity if the issue can be felt majorly in arena, bg, big cities. The problem itself lies not in the constant-high delay, but in it's enormous inconsistency.

Real data from arenas I did last night (using Quartz to see real-time delay):
Delay goes from 110-ish to 380, then back to low 100s then up to 300 and up to 600, then back to low 100s. Needless to say while low 100s MS is not perfect, it's playable, but those constant spikes are really killing any desire to play competitively.

Logged on Blackrock right after my Lordaeron delay test to observe the following results:
    - The delay I have there is in the range of 80-ish ms and while this is not THAT much better than the low 100s Lordaeron produces, there simply are no spikes. As simple as that. A little higher MS (120-ish is bearable but the constant spikes are not.)

  2. Okay so what do you suggest? Specifics please.

  3. Lordaeron is most of time under ddos attack as much as i know. btw. nobody on this realm rly cares about pvp. at least nobody of the ppl who are good enough to raid that naxx succesfully ;)

and it´s still hardcore realm. live with hardcore latency and delays. :D

  4. Most annoying thing is not the lag but staying in the dark. I understand that it is hard to give ETA for fixing server instability but at least let us know what needs to be done. This is a huge community with numerous of members working in similar IT/software/generally online industries (I hope it prevails the number of 12 yo mad kids) who should be eager to help if possible.

Please let us know when it is expected for normal PVP to take place on Lordaeron, what needs to be done - not specifics but general idea on how long this timeframe might be, or just ask for help if you are short of staff, resources, infrastructure or whatever it is.

I don't think if this delay continues people are gona be motivated to continue playing here, as it is frustrating af.

Yeah, right. Killing a freaking BOT is so much more fun than PvP, kek Xd

  7. Yeah, right. Killing a freaking BOT is so much more fun than PvP, kek Xd
Your argument is as valid as "yeah, right, doing video game PvP is much more fun than going win at some real life sport."

LAGaeron needs fixes. PvP is broken. I refuse to play and stream this lag, makes me rage.

  9. @Warmane: If you provide real data that the amount of people is in fact the real reason behind the lags, my suggestion is to consider a server split while maintaining a shared instance/dungeons-pool and arenas/bgs-pool aka Battlegroup - http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Battlegroup
"In Patch 3.3.0 cross realm instances were introduced, and they are connected in the same groups as the battlegrounds." - meaning this functionality already exists in 3.3.5a. If the problem is not the amount of people but something else, do enlighten us so we don't start quitting because of bad experience combined with lack of information.

  11. What will be when Wintergrasp comes?
    When i will level up.

  12. What lag? I mean really what lag are people experiencing, what part of the planet are you on (those that are experiencing lag)? ISP?

If you are seriously unable to read and/or comprehend what is written in a detailed post you should consider something else than participating in forum threads.
