1. Sending gold cross-faction?

So... iirc you were able to put an item up for auction on the neutral AH and buy it with another character on the other faction....

    Example for easier comprehension:
I have two characters A, an alliance character and B, a horde character.
    a) I post a Linen Cloth on the neutral AH for 1000 gold with character A
    b) I log into B and buy the item
    c) A receives the 850 gold (1000 minus 15% (neutral AH tax)).

    Instead, I get this...

    Is this normal?

  2. That's normal, you can't buy crossfaction with your own account. You need to have a friend to do it for you

  3. 1) Create a new account
    2) Create a lvl. 1 character
    3) run to a neutral auction house
    4) profit

  4. Can we get an official stance on this?

Is having a friend do it for you exploiting or "clever use of game mechanics"? xD

I don't see how that can get you banned, since there's no rule against having two accounts?
