i changed the language to enGB, now it works. I got a german client too, so the mpq files in deDE folder seem to cause the problem.

How did you do that?

open the WTF Folder in your game directory, change the entry: SET locale "xxXX" to SET locale "enGB" (or enUS). Make sure you have a folder called enGB (or enUS) in your Data folder.

Is it only Lordaeron?
Do any other servers other than Warmane work?
Has it always happened or is it just recently?
Have you check firewall, etc?
