Okey, i have to admit i can not see how its hard to fund the server its very simple and clear almost everybody on the server has been Playing "retail" at some point so why would you not fund the server in the Exact same Way as if it was retail? Lets say you had to pay 1-8 euroes each month im pretty sure that maybe 9000x5=45000 euroes would be enough to fund the server? And Then there could be all the other functions as race change etc, now im not sure how much you need to financial be okey, but i'm pretty sure most of the People would be okey with this small cost. Also you most of the players on the server would rather pay a small amount to have the server being without donation gear if you know what i mean. Won't work.. this is Free-to-play as all other private servers are. you start charging a monthly service to play and you can kiss your player base goodbye. Even if it was $1 a month people would kick up ****. There also might be legal reasons why not to do this.
There is however a possible way around this and that is keep the server Free-to-play but then add a perks rewards for players who wish to donate monthly assuming legal wise it is not a ***** to work with. like say $5 a month gets you x2 exp and + 5% extra gold on each kill and quest hand in.

Legal issues. You cannot take a monthly fee for a game you dont own. As soon as Warmane announced a monthly fee it would become illegal and be shut down by blizzard/lawsuit.
It only works like it does now:
You donate and get nothing in return. Because it's a donation, you dont buy anything.
Warmane awards your donation with coins. You dont have any right to get the coins, because you didnt buy them. Warmane gives them voluntary.
You can spend those coins that you didnt buy via the warmane marketplace.
You didn't spend money for ingame-items nor for the right to play the game at any point. And that's why free servers arent illegal.

But cant you see how that would affect the game itself? Giving People perks for donating would make ingame economy dumb just like now where DMF cards dropped 10-15k gold in Price.

Not if the % is very low. The same way it does not affect other games that have perks.
But it does not matter as legal reasons not even my idea would work.

Economy is messed up, gameplay is messed up. I hope Kaer himself will take initiative and make some decent steps regarding it.
I don't have issues with donors, and even none should have it because they are the real ones who are keeping realm up.
if you have issues with donors, then you are nothing better than a guy who needs free food, free medical, free home, free electricity, free car, free pubic vehicles, free petrol and so on
if not you; then someone else has to pay for the donations part and every donor will expect something in return as it is not a CHARITY REALM !!!!
I feel annoying how people treat it like Kaer has opened up charitable realm ^_^
Every guy who is making scripts needs cash to be paid with and Kaer should not be the one paying from his own pockets and he won't be in case someone is thinking that lordaeron will go on for much longer with these almost negligible donations.
Deathwing and Warmane rose up on the realm lists, not because of hardcore players but because of donors donating over there and eventually paying the staff for scripting.

Its 8-11k for the best in slot trinkets till trial of the crusader... Inscription got killed hard and i made a loss of 30k+ gold cus i had 1 trknket and two noble decks after i earned the gold myself ingame
