1. It says upon the next update, read carefully. I'm out, now this sh** is P2W
"How about you create a free bugless server and maintain it ? Crybaby cheapstakes."
Quoted from a player in Global.

    And I do agree.
Stop crying about "p2w". If you dont like that people are getting rewards for actually keeping YOUR server alive, play retail.
    Oh wait...

  2. started to que @ 13:39 now 17:04 getting close into the game only 79 remaining XDDD I CAN FEEEL THE POOOOOWWERRR " Never EvA gonna Log out AGAIN " hahahahaha

  3. The queue is getting worse and worse.. Yesterday there was a 1800 queue, and today 2500.... tommorow 3000 ?
Today is Sunday and that's why there's such a big que. Tomorrow is Monday and you won't see nearly as many players. People here obviously don't want to accept that there's a ****load of people playing here, so they blame multiboxers, afk-ers... Just deal with the fact that this server is really popular and that you're going to have ques all the time. Face the reality. And by staying in-game to avoid ques you're creating even bigger ques, so it's just a vicious circle.

  4. I'm sorry but, I'm massively confused right now

    So,
    According to your last announcement:

"Additionally, players that donated to the realm will no longer have to wait in queue for a period of 30 days. This added benefit is retroactive and applies to community members that had made a contribution to Lordaeron since its launch."

    So lemme get this straight...
Players who will donate to the server will have a free enter (queue skipping), meaning they will log with server full
If they do so, population will reach, hmm, lets see, 11k?
Then, the players who don't donate have to wait untill server get less than 10k to start discounting in queue? (which is... at deep night I suppose)

Does that mean that EVERYONE have to forcely donate so they will able to play?
And then if everyone donates, then how many online will we have? 13k? Then what is the server cap for?

I understand that donators deserve some advantage over non-donors, but,

Like I'm 5, please, explain to me what sense does this make?

  5. It is really a shame, but understandable. You sit down home and be like '' I want to play WoW in about 1h / 1h 30 min, so let's queue now and then it is ready in 1h + '' :/

  6. It's so funny to see all these player threats how they'll leave the realm if nothing happens about the queue :P
A couple of players moving to another realm would alone solve the issue. And you expect Warmane to do something about it when the easiest solution is just to wait out until the casuals give up and crawl back to the highrates?
    Seriously, you guys are masochists.

From what i read in that statement, i would say that only people who already donated will skip ques, bcs people would start donating now just to skip ques bcs it's been anounced.

  8. The queue is getting worse and worse.. Yesterday there was a 1800 queue, and today 2500.... tommorow 3000 ?
You always get more queue at sundays.

  9. I was 300, got dc (don't know why) now I'm 2300.

  10. to be honest, i forgot today is sunday.

That's not what he means. I don't actually think the staff have thought this over besides the short term monetary goal.

Lets say the server is at cap, so that's 10k people.

Instead of the serving limiting itself at 10k people, more players will be able to join instantly raising the cap artificially making the server lag more. More so, my question is does the server need to dip under 10k again for the queue to move.

If so, the queue will start to become unbearable as people will be waiting for an immense amount of time.

  12. I woonder.
if the server will restart now, how much time will it take to get the queue this high again?

  13. 12 AM And queue is more than 1000. TWELVE IN THE MORNING!!!!!! ONE THOUSAND QUEUE!!!! They should make dinamic afk timer. When queue is below 500 you are kicked after 40mins form server, over 500 30 minutes from server, over 1000, 20 minutes. After 1500 15 mins, 200- 10 minutes.
2300 in queue on a sunday afternoon. Warmane really doesn't give any cares about anything regarding player experience, do they? Blizzard would've had this solved after 1 week. Shows you the difference between how different people with different values operate MMOs.

  14. I guess the 10k spots are a rather arbitrary number and the population counter is deliberately rigged.
Let's say the server can host 12k players before gettin too unstable, 8.5k are playing and the website displays 10k.
The 8501 player's the first player in the queue and so on.. so if you are a donator or skip the queue you'll be number 8051 and the
first player in the queue'll be 8052. So they have a pretty big emergency buffer for skippers and donators, while the servers runs
more or less problem free and it seems like they host more people then they do.

  15. I woonder.
if the server will restart now, how much time will it take to get the queue this high again?
I think I've seen it go from restart to cap in 30 minutes/1 hour or so

Blizzard also made in a day the money Warmane makes in 1 month, or more.
Just count (when it was wotlk) 1.2 Mil * 15$ monthly, + 50$ base game + whatever wotlk costed.
