Queuing in Lordaeron

Warmane needs to realise people can and will move to OTHER servers. Why? Because the way they are (not) solving this issue makes the scenario of 'leaving lordaeron' different than you think.

Point me towards a server that has as much working content and a decent population and I'll see you there.

There's no monopoly here, other servers will open up and when it comes time for people to change, Warmane is going to have trouble making up for how horribly their handling this whole situation for the past 2 months.

They need to solve problems the way Blizzard or a proper professional game developer would solve them, or else nobody is going to give them a drop of their money. People don't pay for service like this, Period. I'm sorry, but that's the market Warmane is in, and they need professionalism and knowhow more than anything right now. If they want donations.

What services are we all enjoying right now? Please tell me what else Lordaeron is like - the complete picture. Stop acting like the positives outweigh the negatives - if that was the case, more people would feel comfortable donating. But currently people feel, justifiably so, that donating to Warmane is a bad personal option. Because stuff feels ghetto and broken when you're staring at a queue for half your leisure day.

Important to have a clear and complete picture of what this 'service' that you're getting is.

2300 in queue on a sunday afternoon. Warmane really doesn't give any cares about anything regarding player experience, do they? Blizzard would've had this solved after 1 week. Shows you the difference between how different people with different values operate MMOs.

You are comparing servers run by a multi-billion company with a server run by a few people. I don't think you are a very smart person.

They don't have the budget big game companies have.

Im starting to suspect each time there was a ddos attack on the server, it was in order to crash it and reset queue.
That can explain the rate of which those are happening lately.

There are many servers run by small companies. And more will come out with just as high quality.

How many people do you think are building a rapport with Warmane over how horribly they deal with Lordaeron's problems? How effectively do you think Warmane is encouraging donations and loyalty?

I'm willing to donate, but I do not expect the majority of people to be willing. I can't blame them, warmane isn't handling this in a way that makes players like them. At all.

If they encourage people to donate, they will get hate from people that won't donate. It goes both ways, you can never make the entire population happy. It's just the way it is. The only thing they can do to deal with this issue is increase server capacity, remove players that sit in character selection screen or remove their fake population ( if any ) on peak times

Why do u ppl keep chewing on the same topic, this long queue happens very rarely and at most u get to wait 3 hours.While i do agree that this is a problem, no cap increase or skip queue will solve this problem.This whole week we see at most queue 1.2k peaks, which is not really much, weekends are different tho, and maybe they should enable short kick timer just during the weekends.

I waited 2k queue and i didnt give a single ****, just did some other random stuff and now im on.
Now that im logged in, i prefer to wait another 1hour in queue if ms was lower.

It'd also make it the only thing Warmane staff is actively 'doing'. If they are actual 'attacks', then that means Warmane staff is doing nothing. The latter is more likely, imo.

They gave you coins, what more do you want? You didn't actualy donate so you won't get the same benefits as the donors.

i see alot of solutions for this problem like increasing the cap only in weekends, character customitzation (name, race, faction, gender etc) for coins, permaban for those exploiters who doesnt like to follow the rules even if they are from any admin guild, no more accounts allowed in lordaeron...

You took that sentence out of context. This is what the entire post looks like "Players that donated to the realm will no longer have to wait in queue for a period of 30 days. THIS added benefit is retroactive and applies to community members that had made a contribution to Lordaeron since its launch."
