Hello guys, im playing spr for a while and i think that im pretty good at it now, i can beat a lot of comps but still i have a lot of what to learn. I wanted to ask you, how to beat actually a pretty good war/pal comp ( I have beaten a lot of them, but anyway there is some that i cant). Its starting like: " pally pops hand of sacrifice on warrior and just run forward to us, warrior stays back. What to do now ? We just sap pally, wait for sacri disappears and then resap pally and open war again. After sap fear (pally trinkets) but now its like yellow sacrifice pop, freedom and dispel dispel insta heal dispel. ( my mate usually silence before that sacrifice and tryin' to zerg war with dismantle etc but sometimes warrior survives) Now imagine us reopening like runnin around the pillar to get any good resap but pally and war are chasing us both... my mate fears the paladin and open war ... when we push the dmg, pally bubles ( actually im using kick's and gouge's on paladin as much as i can in arena) ... if we cannot zerg the warrior even in this time, my mate has no mana and we're done. No disp, no fiend ... but if there is some mana left, we are trying to fear paladin, cheap gouge / kidney war and switch the pally. But in this time they are having trinket again. Sometimes i blind war to force trink/hand of protection or blind pally for resap.
Hope you got atleast anything from this thread. Can u please spend some time and answer me "how to" actually beat a WP when they're starting like that ( sacri, pally forwards, war back) Or "when" actually is a good time for pop brage and interrupt it with off-hand anesthetic
I'll be glad for any advice ... except posts like "stop playing spr etc"
For this, as a rogue I go envenom/prep because the use envenom will totally ignore the Warriors armor and will do lots of damage.
I found a old trick on the forum to help me:
Follow this and you always win: (this is for disc/rogue, but you can do it as spriest/rogue)
1. Sap Paladin
2. Attack Warrior / Your Priest dispell Paladins Buffs (Preparing for AoE Dispell), then DoT up warrior followed by Smite + Holy Fire.
3. Paladin has to trinket or Bubble or else hes warrior dies.
4a. Trinkets -> Blind -> Bubble -> Mass Dispell -> AoE Fear
4b. Bubbles -> Mass Dispell -> Blind -> Trinkets -> AoE Fear
5. If you have bad luck on dispelling Bubble just do it all over again
6. Dead Warrior
7. Geting Rating
It's a really annoying fight as spriest/rogue, paladins mana is crazy, and it's hard for a good pally to go oom, especially with a good warrior who can put out enough pressure and manage all his cooldowns properly. Moment you go pally, you lose 90% of the time. Because warrior will destroy your priest, he gets feared. Dispel,dispel,dispel. Pally doesnt have to worry about you killing him because of sacred shield absorbing pretty much all your damage as a rogue.
So try to chain cc healer, sometimes its all about the timing
I know a really good counter comp, is Spriest/frostmage:
cc pally, perma slow warr. boom boom, hell prob go spriest, no worrys. you win gg.
As for your comp, cc properly. Make sure your priest can survive. Same for your rogue.
Actually its a bit hard, coz im sub and i dont have enve spec... Im glad for your reply, but all what u've written I know... the biggest problem for me is how to open when pally sacrifices and runs forward ... and warrior stays back with mount up. He can run till my mate dispel war or texture and sap disappears from pally ... then its easy to dispel dispel dispel and sacred cleanging fk up the whole start. Can u tell me how to open ? Anyway thanx for your reply once again, it helped me a bit.
