Hello, i was watching some videos on youtube, while watching some Swifty old clips, and i found the video about Rage gain ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTKPvlX0Sgs )i was like hmmm his warrior gain 15 rage in savage saronite gear? Something is wrong in here. So i decidated to make comprassion, here are results:
Lordareon realm:
no gear no buffs - 664 attack power + 360 - 564 weapon damage = 313 melee swing = 5 rage
no buffs - 3242 attack power + 1372-1642 weapon damage = 892 melee swing = 6 rage
maximum damage - 4904 attack power + 1799-2070 weapon damage = 1135 melee swing = 8 rage
Ragnaros realm:
no buffs - 3169 attack power + 1593-1980 weapon damage = 1150 melee swing = 18 rage
no buffs no gear - 705 attack power + 542 - 897 weapon damage = 514 melee swing = 10 rage

On both characters i havnt wear any armor penetration rating.
Is this is intended? Or its bugged? I dont know, what i know is warriors are strugnling with gaining rage in PvP (personaly i dont have problems with rage in PvE), im forced to use charge talent, because without it i can only rend and hamstring target and im out of rage.
If any of the people from staff (Game master or Dev??idk how are they called) will tell me to make a report in buggtracker ill do it. But i doubt someone will care about this, since they have lot of work to do but im always positive.
I'm sory for a mistakes in the spelling im still learing lolz :P

Nah, ragegain on dummies is just bugged
Guess it has something to do with that the dummies actually just has 1 hp and you're getting rage for 1 damage

its 2016 and you dont know that rage gain is based on your weapon speed
