What is the best dps for PvE?

but let's say,elemental shamans,with ICC haste gear still remains as one of the worst dps

Elemental shaman has never been a top dps spec they just bring buffs and totems to the raid and thats it.

dont wanna start a fight, but seeing u as SV with grimtoll and even the wrong specc and having t7 gear (which is crap btw bec of haste) and u cry about not dealing any dmg as sv. people complaining about things while they have no theorycrafting knowledge at all. and something like that is even an officer in paradox /facepalm :D

whoever thinks T7 gear is good for hunters, they deserve to be twinks only xD
not only alliance side there are many on horde side as well with such funny imaginations :D

Affliction with current gear is the best by a large margain for fights where you can't cheese with aoe (and warlocks aren't bad for aoe either).
I suspect they will only get better as well, since they scale well with gear, particularly haste, we seem pretty BUSTED atm.

I can't remember the last time we didn't have all warlocks in the top4 of patchwerk DPS, because it never occured.

A LOT of this has to do with warmane buffing the health on a lof the adds and bosses in Naxxramas and other raids, making fights longer (warlocks dont get punished for long fights like for example mages with mana and hunters with aspect of viper do) , and also execute phase longer (drain soul is broken for long executes).

downside is if you're still doing dungeon content afflication is very bad and you're better off playing something else since stuff dies so quick.

As a Arcane Mage this is the 100% truth.
Warlocks doing crazy execute damage and pushing them to the top and being awesome in General.
I remember on PTR Arcane raped DPS even on long fights but we got nerfed 100% since everyone cried on forums. (There is no changelog for that etc. but we did 100%).

Anyways, In the Firsts Minutes Mages and Hunter Leads charts but encounters so long we getting shrekt (**** you lifetap:P).

It's true locks are nice, but I think people whining about mages are overexaggerating a lot. Right now arcane is awesome, and in later tiers fire will be even better. Mana won't be a problem for fire mage even during longest fights, and they benefit from execute phase nicely too.
