1. like its already said people want to complete the dungeon and Skadi is badly scripted and mobs spawns so fast, its still doable but no that easy with random group,i don't understand why developers can't for once test their script fully instead of fixing something to make the dungeon even more useless.

  2. First mistake.

    Its called common sense
    Second mistake.

Common sense isn't that common. Most people that have the perception of a little power think they have to see in only black and white. However, common sense dictates, there is a grey area.

not much you can do to counter it.
You are right about one thing tho.

The way I see it, its like speed limits: In towns its 50km/h but when its 2 am and not a soul in sight I'll push to 70 sometimes, on highways its 120, sometimes I'll push to 140, 130.

If the cops WANT to they most likely can and will fine me, but again: depends on the person + YOUR common sense of whats around you. Obviously I won't drive at 70 km/h in a packed sunday with the market on the other side of the street and kids running around now would I?...

To apply to WoW I guess if the ONLY way to get the quest/mob working is to use some sort of thing that shouldn't be able to, in order to make it function correclty, then its ok in my book: As long as you're not abusing it in a way that the mob insta dies/can't hit you/etc.

Again: Also depends on the "judge", GM's in this case. And thats what I meant about "not much you can do to counter it", if they want, its within their power to do so, even if it doesn't seem right.

I think we're making the same point, but going about it with different verbiage.

Mine was a response to Obnoxious honestly, where as the punishment they spoke of, in this case, and in my own opinion, isn't warranted.

It isn't, not in my book either, but ye the point I was making was that it depends on the GM and the circumstances of the case at hand basically. It's not always black and white, but we, as players, can do nothing to change the outcome.

  6. I loathe exploits, and will not use them, i try to stay away people that do.

That be said there's something to be said about playing on a private server where are a few bugs to be expected, however I've been searching the forum for a solution to get Skadi to come off his mount, with the Harpoon or SOMEHOW so i can complete the Elder quest chain, and the instance. I fail to see the logic in saying do "this" and we'll punish you, when the instance isn't doable by any normal means?
I think there is a certain mentality that you would first have to prove you cannot complete the instance without exploiting. Like a shot first and ask questions later sort of thing.

I hate the fact that the final boss can be pulled in Utgarde Pinnacle, however having Skadi the Ruthless bug in a different way each time I go through that instance makes it understandable IF they are doing it to actually complete the instance and not just so they can farm him for the daily or something.
