WotLK Can't take "It's all fun and games" from Thassarian in Icecrown

Hey,

I can't talk to Thassarian in Icecrown. He's slowly floating under the boat during it's route instead of standing on it, with the exclamation mark on his head, but I can't talk to him to start the quest chain around the Ebon Blade in Icecrown. I did not have that problem with my DK. What do?

He's also standing infront of the eof/eot vendor building in dalaran next to the inn.
