WotLK weapon choice arms > fury

Hii, im going to hit 80 soon and will either use vp or coins for a 2h to use as arms until i get better gear to go fury. What weapon will be best to use for this time? Im thinking either shadows edge or glorenzelg?

i'll prefer glo since you can get shadow edge quite easy in the game though I'll say shadow edge is better for fury. If you use glo, you can straight get the agi cloak or else you might want to use the might cloak if you use shadow edge.

Ok cool thx, ive always had a thing for axes so may choosw that :) im not a serious raider nor do i have lots of time for wow so providing the dps is good its fine for me!

Yes. Shadow edge is basically a seed to shadowmourne, and best 264 weapon available. And gloren takes care about your expertise cap (together with set legs).

Bryntroll does't make sense for pve. (heared that some pvp dks use it, cause healing) You would loose way too many secondary stats to make tiny increase in weapon dmg worth it (the difference is much smaller than it seems since SE is slower).

Those are weapons you can use as SE upgrade: Warmace of Menethil hc, second Gloren, Cryptmaker hc, mourne.

Yes. I did some extra tests on rawr... bryntroll hc sims almost the same dps (well 6 more) as Reckoning (toc 10hc - 245 ilvl), SE sims at 200 more (rest of the gear is bis though).

bryntroll is used not for healing, but cuz of that lifestealig proc deals up to 4k dmg - it is actually a lot for pvp

Il get gloren hc once i know my gear is good enough for fury to do better than arms.

Somewhere around when you can reach your soft-arp cap (1400 arp with proc trinket like "Needle Encrusted Scorpion").
