I managed to get the 5.4.8 client working, but I am unable to log in, because the realm status appears Offline. Any solution? I've also made sure that my Firewall and Antivirus doesn't block or exclude any files to corrupt the connection. I need a solution to be able to log in using the new client.
!Considering that I logged in successfully an hour or more ago using the patch up over 5.4.2! I think that this issues is coming from the 5.4.8 client itself, if it worked the other way around.
I think the WoW client 5.4.2 is no longer available, cuz this server is 5.4.8 now, you can log in only with 5.4.8 client. Download 5.4.8 client from Warmane site, if you won't then simply paste these:
SET realmlist "logon.warmane.com"
SET patchlist "logon.warmane.com"
In wtf>config file.
If still not working, try running WoW.exe as Administrator.

As I said I am using the 5.4.8 client, and I am unable to log in because the realm status is always offline. I fixed the error message of the client myself, but I can't bypass the log in screen.
Overwriting the 5.4.2 with 5.4.8 worked btw and I was able to log in, but I want to use the WOD models, and they work only on the full 5.4.8 patch, and I want to log in using the 5.4.8 patch, but still unable, too. Just spoke with another person about it and he adviced me to do some stuff, so I am going to try what he adviced me to do, and see if it will fix the log in issue.
I've rewritten the realmlist a couple of times already, tried running as administrator, which I am by default, too, but nvm, nothing helps me with logging in.

thanks btw for replying, I'll update the post if I manage to fix it eventually... :D
I found a solution in collaboration with the Draenor models patch. The Draenor models patch requires us to open the game using of the two 32.exe or 64.exe files after extracting the content into the original Pandaria. Like this you can bypass the problematic WoW.exe, and use the patched up WoD models exe to log in successfully.
That's what fixed it for me. If somebody else has log in issues, use the WoD models patch, make sure your realmlist is set to 'read-only' mode, otherwise when logging in-game the game automatically starts writing in your realmlist, adding info that must not be in it.
You don't need to run as administrator from the compability settings.
To edit your realmlist, you must untick 'read-only' mode, paste the text content, save and reapply 'read-only' mode.
but do you seriusly would rather stop to play WoW if you wasnt able to successfully use a 5.4.8 with WoD models?
I barely log in anyway, because of lack of time. One year ago I used to be logged in every day, used to be a regular player. But time is short nowadays for me, because I have many things to work on, and many games to play, and trying to be everywhere is impossible. So I log in like few times a month...in one month I might become more active again, because I am going to take on a new course, but it probably won't last long.
So in general Frost Queen Mynce is innactive from quite some time. Same applies for all of the people I used to know in-game, both Horde and Alliance. I rarely see a familiar face, since Molten became Warmane. And I miss playing with the old types of players I used to play with, they have nothing in common with the players today.
