Technical Stuck at connecting

Hi,

I am in dire need of some technical assistance. I am stuck at connecting and i don't know how to solve it. Before this, I could connect, load the game and play as usual when one day i got dc'ed and when i tried to log in it just says 'connecting', forever. I submitted ticket to staff and was told to come to the forums for help.

The weird thing is that I could surf the net, play steam games and even could log my WOW game using another ISP. At first I thought it was the server issue, but it has been going on since end of October last year and after that I used another ISP because I moved temporarily. Now that I am back, the issue is still there. So, I called my ISP (UNIFI, Malaysia) and the technical people mentioned that nothing is wrong with my internet and no ports were blocked.

My config file points to warmane.com for login, the folder is not on read-only, and I am using the new client, 5.4.8 MOP which I downloaded from the website.

I checked my firewall and nothing blocks the WOW client. I deleted cache, flushed DNS and it did not work. I even tried playing on 3 different PCs using the same ISP but the same problem surfaces. It is weird because I used to play WOW on all 3 PCs. The only difference I could find was that I installed WTFast in October 2015 to help reduce ms, could this be the main cause? So i uninstalled it and still its not working.

I have been googling to find solutions for this but nothing helped and i am not a computer genius either, so please help me. If anybody has had similar issue, I would appreciate your input.

Well.. I think I solved it. Used google DNS. I dont know what that does but I can now play.
