1. [A] LF a PVE Guild

I'm a fresh lvl 80 looking for a guild that does dungeons and hopefully when I gear up do raids and hc dungeons

  2. There is no guilds like this on Ragnaros.
You can join 1 of 2 types of guilds here.
    1) Guilds that don't get **** done besides RDF HC
    2) Guilds that have ICC25HC and RS25HC on farm.

Now the problem is, you can get in any of the guilds falling under catagory 1. but don't expect to get an achievement of any raid what so ever.
so i hear you thinking: why don't i just apply with Virtus or Infest or KFT (fill in all others here), yes you can apply. but no achi no inv. easy as that.
also you have to be on your tippy toes every second of every day because the slightest inconvenience to some certain people who tend to get high rankings in these kinds of guilds will upset them and you will get kicked from the guild.

Tl;Dr = Welcome to warmane where you can do heroic dungeons all day long untill after weeks and weeks you might get lucky to get into a pug raid and get your [Storming the Citadel (10 player] achievement. but never getting further than PP because EVERY pug sucks.

And then I stopped reading. Why? Because Virtus is a pvp guild and entirely irrelevant. Also because I can list off numerous people who went from fresh 80 in greens to LoD/Bane after proving that they weren't some mindless noob. Every top guild is going to have spots open for recruitment, even if they're listed as closed, and you can get in if you can prove your ability to not mess up on stupid ****. Gear isn't nearly as big of an issue as people make it out to be, guilds will carry you for gear, they've carried my alts without knowing it was me simply because I wasn't being ******ed.

TL;DR: Prove your worth and sensible leadership will most likely help you get there.
PS: I recommend joining a casual guild until you're confident that you can preform decently in raids. And who knows, the casual guild may decide to do some raiding, it wouldn't be the first time. My first guild on Ragnaros went from VoA farm to LoD in 8 months. Just remember that any guild who defines themselves as hardcore is going to expect you to be very knowledgeable about boss fights and your class, so you probably have some homework to do.

    1. VIRTUS is a PvP guild
    2. My officers don't kick people who upset them slightly and neither do I, so using my guild (VIRTUS) as an example here is pretty misleading.
    3. Read 1 and 2.
    4. Bye.

Right on the $$$, as the leader of desolation and leo was there to witness it I have many people in my core spots that I started them out with fresh greens geared them up and taught them icc just because they showed the willingness and intelligence to progress with the guild. So I am with leo and Mark on this one.

I know you are on alliance and we are horde but, if you are interesded in a very English speaking mixed nationality guild with West Coast North American raid times check us out @ desolation-ragnaros.shivtr.com or our recruitment forum on warmane. If you can prove to be an asset and help out the guild we will help you out in return. We wont 100% gear you and carry you, but if you put in the effort we will return the favor.
