To start this off I want to mention I'm aware there is an "Introduction" section of the forums however the only realm I play on Warmane is Neltharion. Because of this I felt it made more sense to post this here rather than there. I've put off making this thread because I've grown aware to the fact that the community on this server is more or so toxic as f*ck and I cba dealing with 17 year-olds that come home from school and take their emotional distress out over a keyboard. But yolo right?

Anyway -- my name is Andrew. Some of you may have seen me around in-game on my Hunter named Ryzuh. I'm 21 years old and I've played WoW for a total of 10 going on 11 years, 7 of those years being primarily focused on WotLK realms. Particularly Arena-Tournament over the last couple of years.

I'm not much of a PvE person, however, I dabble in it whenever I feel I want to. I'm mainly interested in Arena rather than BGs just solely because anyone can mindlessly smash their face into their desk and get top of the charts with all this broken as f*ck PvE non-sense, but breaking 4th wall and showing that you are capable of playing your class as intended means a lot more. 2s is a trash bracket and means little to nothing, however, it's where I hold my highest rating I've earned over the last 10 years. I was a Challenger Warrior in season 3 as well as a Rival Rogue in season 4 on retail back in the day. Lich King rolled around and I played it until season 6 when I discovered private servers.

While playing Arena-Tournament over the last 3 or 4 years I've achieved over 2700 rating on two classes, and above 2400 on 3 others, including Hunter. I've never touched Cata, MoP or WoD. I decided I was tired of WotLK as it's grown stale and with the merge of AT and Molten I came around to playing Neltharion. I'm entirely new to this expansion so I'm still learning all the new spells and mechanics as well as feeling out the environment of this realm itself with all of the bugs and things. So far I've been able to achieve just over 2100 rating as Thug Cleave even though I know that's barely worth mentioning.

I plan to do 3s in a few weeks once I get my hands on my Cata weapon and finish off my offsets seeing that I'm still gearing but in order to do that I need to make some friends. Right? I've only played on Neltharion for about a year maybe a bit less and I've primarily kept to myself because of it's communities toxicity so I don't know anyone other than a very, very small handful of people.

I would say more about myself personally but I feel as if it's irrelevant and people will just mock me or something so instead, if there is anything you would like to know about me all I have to say is say hi and find out for yourself. wrong, you can reach 2k3 with PvP gear.( I stopped after 2k3)

swass.. are u dumb? depending on what country you're from, you go to school until even after 18 [excluding uni/college.. which is still school fyi]. the stupidity only gets more evolved the further we go down your post so i just won't comment on it any further.

as for op:
from my experience, the higher the rating, the more toxic the players. you may want to consider joining a pvp guild, finding some middle tier people that are fun to play with and just lead your team, to improve their skills. it's likely the only way to avoid the toxic ppl. not saying all the high rated ppl are stupid/rude/annoying/whatever, as I haven't met them all. But this is often true on both retail and pservers. My own retail partners only play during summer so I'm actually unsubbed the rest of the year, cba to weed through all the childish folk to find ppl to play with the rest of the time.. plus it saves money ofc :D

gluck in ur search. some of the bg heroes here have potential, and if they don't spam annoying text macros with their spells, they have less of a chance of being kiddish :P

EDIT: and the average gamer is in their 30's with kids n a family.. younger people should be either studying, or hanging out with friends/partying.
