I have a few questions i'd like to ask about buying coins with gold.
1) Is it legal? (I've read somewhere that it is illegal, but why then is it so freely being done on warmane site?)
2) Do u need you need to have a ''donor'' account to do it?
Well that's what I wanted to ask. I have a friend who farmed really hard to get the gold, but once he tried it didn't work... Anyone knows why?
Any advice or links ( couldn't find on forums) that could help would be really appreciated.

Coin trading outside marketplace trade section is bannable (it is disabled fo x1)

That is on Lordaeron I know, but I'm talking about deathwing and I'm also talking about trading gold for coins via marketplace. So that is legit?

Yeah to sell coins you must have a donor account, not to buy coins though. And yes any trading / selling of accounts / gold in game is bannable.

Ok ty dike. Last question. Why couldn't my friend who wanted to sell his gold via marketplace sell it? He said something like he thinks he need to have a donor account?

Yes, you can't use the marketplace trade to gain coins if you haven't donated.
