After the merging of Ragnaros and Deathwing, will we keep our characters? I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I did not see the question being asked.

I believe the question has not been asked because it is common sence and knowledge that if you level a character from 1-80 and have spend dozens of hours gearing or have donated for hundreds of dollars for gear, Warmane does not throw away thousands of characters so you have to start all over, it is called a server merge and not a moltdown or a complete warmane reset, in http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....ospective-2016 you can read what the ideas are. keep an eye out for the news page on www.warmane.com for information regarding the merge

@OP Yes. From what I've read 3rd one realm will be opened and you'll have to transfer your chars from the two to third one. Regards the name, who first comes first serves. For the first time you won't be able to make a new character on 3rd realm to avoid name stealing.

Great but what if I have 9 characters on Ragnar and 5 on death? I can have maximum 10 chars. So what will happen to 4 chars? They will get deleted?

they will probably force move all chars at the end and those who have the same names will get a free name change (to be fair both chars should get a name change and who gets the name first gets it) there shouldnt be a limit

Please read again. I don't care about name. You can have only 10 characters per realm. I have 13 chars. 9 on Ranna 4 on death. I don't care about names. Game doesn't allow you to have more than 10 chars. So if that 2 servers are going to connect together I will lose 3 characters?
