WotLK Crit Chance buggy? fwarri

I'm leveling a fury warrior since a few days, and just noticed there's something wrong with my displayed crit chance. I've been at 29%, but it's more and more decreasing the higher my lvl gets, even though my gear gets better and I'm concentrating on crit chance. I even skilled skinning up to 450 for master of anatomy, but the +40 crit chance don't seem to change anything. After around 29% at lvl 74, I've come to 25,01%, now at lvl78.

Is the display buggy? I really can't imagine that's how it's supposed to be.

EDIT: before anyone asks: no, the stats i posted have been measured buff-free.

Update. Now i know for sure the displaying's buggy. I'm still lvl78, got a new helmet with +38 crit chance, and now it's not 25,01% anymore - it's 24,81%.

Question is, is it just the display? Or the actuall crit chance that's bugged?

Does anyone know anything about this ****?

higher level = higher crit chance needed.
Example at level 60:
50 crit from item= 1% crit chance

At level 70:
50 crit from item = 0.5% crit chance

my numbers are invented, I used them just to let you understand
