about boots and ashen rings - i just dont get u. why u want to replace AA (rsboots) with icc25 boots to get more arp in turn of str loss if after u replacing one of arp rings with ashen verdict ring, this just dont have any sense for me
Because its the only combination that doesnt make u either over hit capped or under hit capped.
When u use Apocalypse's Advance + ashen verdict then u are badly over hit capped.
I also think the ashen verdict ring outperforms might of blight because of the ap proc which is a huge benefit.

if count it as 480 ap constant proc ye sure. mb try to divide on uptime mb?

So in the end I think there are only two full pve gear combinations:
Apocalypse advance+might of blight+havoc vs tbcwascool gear combination.
140 str, 72 crit and 48 stamina vs 58 arp, 70 agi, 188 ap and 488 additional ap from ashen verdict proc.
Compare the stats.
Ashen verdict has 1/6 uptime so its equal to 80 static ap in a pve scenario.
In pvp it happens frequently that the ring procs together with sts and dbw which ends up in some nice extra burst.
i compared both sets:
rs boots+mvb and iccboots and ashen verdict ring
and all the difference which i found was 113 ap (rs boots mvb) vs 1.34% crit (iccboots ashen verdict ring), not counting 480 ap proc ovbiously

U also need to take the weapon change into account.
rs boots+ might of blight requires u to take havoc because otherwise u are badly over hit capped.
Icc boots+ ashen ring requires u to take bvb or u are under hit capped.
When u add all these stats together u come up with the stats that i mentioned.

i never use and never will suggest to use havoc cuz its haste is useless. id rather use s8 wep, same arp loss.
and about changing fury t10 to s8 - u will never reach sbv cap with that. u either swap tosks with bracer of the heir, losing around 3% crit but compensating str loss or use t9 legs. without any changes ull just end at 1860 sbv
oke so this new overhyped core ****ed up prot spec again, seems like shield block doesnt double block value cap again. ill post screenshots of testing it in next 8 hours, but would glag to see any other "feeling" bout that ****
p.s. here are are screenshots :
this is recount without using shield block, every dbw proc was cancellled
Seems like the new core takes 1960 Block value as hard cap and everything over that doesnt increase the shield slam dmg anymore.
Retail like would be that 1960 bv is the cap when it comes to gear but glyph of blocking and shield block arent affected by the bv cap and are increasing the shield slam dmg.
I would remove some gear pieces so u have only 950 block value. Then test ur shield slam dmg when shield block is up.
Just to make sure if shield block affects the shield slam dmg at all.
