Is Report Spam ingame working

I use that button in the chat window from time to time to report insults but does it have any effect ?

I've just used it to report gold sellers and the like, not sure how they classify people sending insults or inappropriate messages. Although given that Healsonheels and Accoladea are still allowed to fill chat (and the forums) with troll spam, I would guess the Report Spam only applies to those who explicitly are breaking chat rules.

That's not how report spam works on warmane at all. It just temporarily puts that person on your ignore list, so you don't see his messages at all.
