Paladin is spam tank 123 shaman is spam raid 123, paladin is more op with current gear.

Paladins are excellent single-target healers with zero multi-target healing, which provide buffs and utility with their "hand" spells. Shamans are mediocre single-target healers and good multi-target healers, which provide Bloodlust and Mana Tide Totem among other totems.

Paladin with glyph of holy light can do quite a lot of healing since if you're spamming HL you're doing at least 1k to 5 people around the target, so to say it has zero aoe is not entirely true.. But yes I agree on the rest.
Right now paladin with resto druid are the best at healing, but shaman utility with Earth Shield/Bloodlust/Mana Tide and other buffs (15% physical damage reduction buff from healing is sick) are also very good, and it will be far easier to get a raid spot as shaman, right now at least.

Holy Priests are known. The group would call the Holy Priest by her name and they would invite her, not the class.
The rest of the healers are just healers. We need a Druid. Yeah doesn't matter, just get a Druid. Or a Paladin...

Holy Paladin is the easiest and the most fun.
Holy Priest is the worst healer and the least fun to play.
Holy Paladin and Holy Priests are the same but Paladin wears Plate Armor, yields a Shield on his hand, while the Priest wears Cloth Robe and her Shield is of Light.
If you don't play Paladin you are making a stupid choice. Literally. Why would you want to play a class that is worse?
