Healer PVE > Paladin vs Shaman ? I´m undecided

For that, I am thinking of doing a 2nd character and I want to be healer, and I'm undecided. Will be for PVE and healer, thank you very much for responding. I am using the translator ^^.

Paladin is the tank healer and is the best in it.
Shami has the option to heal either the tank or the raid.

I've always leaned towards Priests when choosing a healer to play. It's mainly because they have the most options. They are the only class with more than one healer spec. Both of those specs have the ability to specialize in more than one area as well. Disc raid bubbles, tank heals and strong pvp capability. Holy raid healing & decent hots, tank healing and making people look bad who try to argue that Holy Priests aren't good.

Im for holy pally, the only class that can solo heal Icc10hc. *mostly, Priests are mostly for Absorbs. I dislike Holy. if talk about Wotlk.

Solo heal on Valithria 10 heroic? I think not, Solo heal on sindragosa? only if your lucky enough not to get unchained magic on you. As for "Only" class? no, I solo healed LK 10 HC as Resto shaman.

Thing about holy priests is that.
1: 95% of them play their class wrong, Renew spamming is utterly useless yet almost every damn one of them go for it.
2: If you know how to AOE heal right, they can top more hps then any other healing class. (go full haste PoH - CoH spam)
3: It's the hardest healing class in game to master since a Holy priest has 6 (7 if you count prayer of mending) healing abilities that is all used differently according to how the combat goes, while every other healing class use 3-4, it dosen't mean the class itself is bad, hell it's quite oposite, Holy priests are one of the best healing classes.

But to awnser the question, Go Holy paladin, it's a quite easy class to master and if you get bored with healing you have a tank and dps specc too. Shamans might be more fun for many people, but as a 2nd char in general I would recomend Paladin.
