I wanted to start a dual wielding character only to find out that I have to pay DOUBLE the amount just so I can get the weapons?
Paladin, DK, Druid, Hunter, Warrior, all casters. They can all get 2 handed weapon for 23/30ish coins/points but Duel wielders have to pay 46/60?
COINS (heroic versions):
http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50654 costs 23 coins
http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50709 costs 23 coins
POINTS (regular versions):
http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50411 costs 27 points
http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50415 costs 29 points
So, in order to get the same value out of your purchase, duel wielding classes would have to pay TWICE the amount.
I understand that 2x1hand is usually more expensive than 1x2hand, however, not by 100%. That is way too much. 20-30% max.
Now someone may bring up fury warriors into discussion, but they are unique case. They are the only one who can wield 2x2hand. Rest of the dual handers shouldn't get screwed up because of 1 case. And fury warriors get out more out of 2x2hands than others get out of 2x1hand.
Math time:
Same with PVP wrath weapons. Purchasing 1x2hand is 55000 honor and 1540 arena points. Purchasing 2x1hand costs the exactly the same, yet if you were to go to the webshop, you would have to pay double.
I request that you revisit your prices and make adjustements accordingly so that everyone get the same value out of their purchases. I personally feel like 1hander should be max 14~ coins and 18 points. Any more is simply unreasonable and makes me inclined to not make a purchase when I see how much I'm getting screwed.
And please don't bring up "that's a gift from us to you" into discussion. It makes no sense in this case.
