1. Fastest Way to Level?

Hello, I'm new to the server and was wondering if there were any tips on fast leveling.

Refer-a-friend doesn't exist -> no higher exp rate
Rested exp doesn't exist (character's not rested in Orgrimmar) -> no rested exp
Heirlooms are donate only right now (as a new player on server) -> no 10% exp

im playing on Ragnaros with an inherent x5 exp rate. deathwing is also a x5 rate.

is there a way of achieveing something close to x10 rate exp?

    thanks

  2. The absolute fastest way to level on Ragnaros & Deathwing is simply to donate for an instant max level.
Rested XP exists. Orgrimmar just doesn't grant it in some areas. You'll have to search and find an area where you can instantly log out. If you can instantly log out, you should be getting rested XP.
Heirlooms are available on Ragnaros & Deathwing through emblems, but that's no good for a new player obviously.

So, aside from someone being kind enough to run you through dungeons or something... no, you'll have to deal with the x5 rate.

  3. Reaching 80 on Rag/DW takes several days, honestly. You get rested XP as long as you're logged out, no matter where your character is. I don't think you'll be sitting AFK in inns only to get Rested (I remember one girl who used to do that, no matter how many times I explained her).

Don't do chain quests which force you to switch zones. Go to zones with lots of quests and once you've completed the main set and you see you're running out of quests there, switch to another quest-rich zone. Don't rely on dungeons, unless you have a friend 80lvl to boost you and you have several quests in that dungeon. Don't think about the quest lore, chain rewards or anything, think only about which zone is best for your level and has the most quests. Easy 80lvl.

  4. One more thing to add, when you reach about level 66-68 (pre-Northrend), ask some level 80 to help you with the Nagrand "Ring of Blood" questline. It gives a lot of XP (about a couple of levels) for just a few minutes.

The same thing happens about levels 75+, the Zul'Drak Arena ("Amphitheater of Anguish") questline - some easy levels for a few minutes.

The XP rates make these quests a really good source of XP.

  5. Reaching 80 on Rag/DW takes several days, honestly. You get rested XP as long as you're logged out, no matter where your character is. I don't think you'll be sitting AFK in inns only to get Rested (I remember one girl who used to do that, no matter how many times I explained her).

You can get x4 more rested bonus if you are staying in inn. On Rag/DW it might not be a big deal since you can get lvl 80 in 1 day playtime but on Lord players should always log out in inns, unless you are far away from inn and hearthstone is on cd when you are goin offline.

  6. Ragnaros/Deathwing/Neltharion/Frost Wolf are x7 not 5.

  7. Best advice I can give you is kill some ****, then some more **** and when you get done killing ****, kill even more ****. Just focus on your quest and killing **** and you'll be 80 in no time. Leveling on Rag/Wing is super fast and super easy and really shouldn't take more then a day to get to endgame.
