Poor GM Assistance and Dumb Quest Completing Rules
Well, time for a little moan. I recently opened up a request to speak to a GM, and after some time waiting, I finally got the opportunity to speak to one.
The conversation started out well(-ish), as the GM assured me that the bug I reported would be updated soon (seems to be a pretty standard answer and nothing ever changes...).
After I made the point that in some exceptions, GMs should be able to complete quests for players if there is a known bug, it went south quickly after that, as he replied once more and then ignored my following messages. I even stressed the fact that I would not expect him to complete it for me on the spot, but merely suggested that someone amends that rule for the future.
My situation was that, I completed the quest and all of its objectives, but I did not have the option to return to the giver and wreak my rewards!
I've spoken to a few other players regarding this ridiculous rule, and they all seem to be in agreement with me.
Of course, we're not expecting GMs to complete quests at the click of our fingers, but at the very least, consider that, in some cases, it might be the best course of action to keep us happy!! At the end of the day, we pay the bills via donations.
I have screenshots of the conversation as proof if any of the devs need it.
gm's have better things to do than to complete every bugged quest for every tom dick and harry that makes a ticket. if the quest isn't essential (ie class quests) than you report it and abandon it till it's fixed. no amount of moaning is gonna change that.

What Skuddy said.
Unless you are a DK or in Cata/MOP a Worgen/Goblin who have zero choice but to be stuck without the manual completion of their quest its not stopping you from doing anything of importance. Report, abandon and move on.
