1. im well aware that it stacks, but it doesnt stack like ignite or deep wouds, making its unviable in pve. after all those redesign of this spell it become pvp utility spell, main purpose of which is dispel protection. what the point of having it dealing even 300 dmg pet tick?
A 1 point talent does the same damage as 2 points in another but over the course of a long time while stacking (thus not losing damage). The damage result of both cases would be absolutely the same. Stacks just like ignite/deep wounds. The point is saving 1 talent point.

explain now how it stack like ignite if ignite is capable of dealing 8k-9k per tick? while UhB ticks is like - 280 max

i dont use morbity in my build so its ****ing irelevant. i use http://wotlk.openwow.com/talent#jZG0...0Ixcbx0ux0uIqo
the only build which MAXED my dmg output i tried any kinds even with useles UB, but always returned to build without it. ****ing dont know how u can tell that something that is capable of doing 200 dmg per tick has its place in end-game talent build. 1 more SS per rotaion >>> UhBdmg for 3 minutes of encounter

    3. Read their respective talents and check over what amount of time the damage is spread.
    4. While reading, check what abilities make those talents work.
    5. Answer your question yourself. It really isn't hard.

    If you can't

    Spoiler: Show
Firstly both ignite and deep wounds do a ton more damage because their percentage values are much higher. Second both of those talents proc from various abilities which makes their stacking both faster and bigger. Thirdly their damage isn't spread out over 10 seconds but over 4 or 6. To compare,

    1,000 damage:

    - over 10 seconds = 100 damage per second
    - over 6 seconds = 166.6666666666667 damage per second
    - over 4 seconds = 250 damage per second

If there was a contest on forums on the topic of "missing the point" you'd surely win it. I'm not saying it does as much as deep wounds/ignite. I never said that. What I said is that it STACKS in the same way that they do. Is what I'm saying clear now?

lel, so do u mind to explain now, when u accepted the fact that UB doesnt deals such damage as wounds/ignite, why to pick this useless spell in pve? reaping will provide additional SS per circle of ratation which will deal far more dmg than UB deals for 1 min or even more

What makes you think you're dropping Reaping in favor of UB? You're taking both, the only optional talents are Morbidity/Dirge/BCB.

  8. dike, what Rifokelt said - you don't drop Reaping in favour of UB. This is the build we're talking about. BCB is crap, even for Unholy, with Morbidity 2/3 being better than 2/3 BCB, and you don't need Dirge at high end. There are simply no other options. UB is a flat 10% increase on DC which can stack - for single-target DPS it beats both BCB and 2/3 Morbidity. Ultimately, between BCB, Dirge and Morbidity, Morbidity is your best investment for the last 2 TPs because of both the 10% increase on DC and the increased AoE from D&D. The only other option is dropping Wandering Plague in favor of BCB, but WP has an immense potential compared to BCB and its single-target damage is pretty much the same. BCB seems good at first but there is really no reason to pick it after you weigh the other talents.
