1. Resilience working as it should?

The title says it all. Is resilience working as it should in pvp here on Lordaeron?

  2. I tested it on the new core on deatwing and it works as intended

  3. Problem on Lordaeron is, that you cant reach high values of resilience, which makes it much less efficient. With like 500 resiliance you reduce noncrits by like 10% and critical hits by 20%. If a feral hits you for 10k or for 8k, it doesnt seem so much different. Low values of resiliance are just not noteable.

Another thing is, that this season is not blizzlike. I rember for naxx25 2k dps was needed and 4k dps was a "wow". Here such numbers are like a joke, even for archavon 4k dps is need. Many classes/specs are just much stronger than they were on retail at season 5.

Other thing is that season 5 started at 1500 rating on retail. The first items to be bought by rating need 1,6k rate for this reason. Arenapoints given to players are all the same until 1,5k rating. Because it takes many games to get there, getting better gear with higher resilience takes even more time. With a bad queue system and not even a ladder till the very end, i suggest you to ignore the first "season" and hope for better days.

At least resiliance is working and will be more effective in the future.

  4. Yes, it's just that talents and spells and **** scale as in 3.3.5 and not as in the patch that was in s5. So you get insane amounts of dps - that's why they made raids harder but still :D

  5. From experience of playing 'progression servers' that have the latest patch but limit gear, PvP damage always ends up crazy. Applies to 4.3.4 cataclysm limited to 4.0.6/4.1 equipment too, not only 3.3.5 with 3.0 limitations.

Though WotLK always had more bursty damage than cata, so it feels even worse there in terms of people dying stupidly quick.

  6. It was possible to get 10k crits already in s6. You need high resilience and health to counter damage in wotlk which simply does not happen with something like s5 gear.
