How about after 10 mins of waiting, highest team will be paired with currently next highest team in queue.
Team 1 - 2000 mmr:
normally if Team 1 wins a team with >1600mmr, they get 10 rating, if lost they lose 10 rating.
if Team 1 wins a team with <1600 mmr they get half of the regular amount - 5 rating, if they lost - they lose half more than regular rating - 15. But the low mmr team gains half more rating but doesnt lose any rating if lost.
Team 2 - 2200 mmr:
normally if Team 1 wins a team with >1800mmr, they get 14 rating, if lost they lose 14 rating.
if Team 1 wins a team with <1800 mmr they get half of the regular amount - 7 rating, if they lost - they lose half more than regular rating - 21. But the low mmr team gains half more rating but doesnt lose any rating if lost.
The valuables may differ, but the system should be simple a as that. This could allow higher teams not to waste themselves while waiting in queues, but also awards more lower teams if they manage to win.
Four days ago when I queued the mmr system was fine. It felt similiar to Blackrock's mmr system. Got pretty fast queues against a team that had 400 mmr less than my team.
@Heavenlolx, Either they removed the mmr system again, or there literally wasn't any team within 600 mmr of your mmr range queueing (600 mmr is the highest mmr differential Blackrock's mmr system extends to I believe).
