Noob Question server connecting

Sorry if i am posting in the wrong forum. When downloading the 18gig client, is this just the client? was unsure if i was redownloading the game that i already have. Didnt want to waste my time downloading it when i could be questing! Sorry, very new to the pub server stuff!

Warmane offers Wtolk, Cata and MoP Realms.
To play on Wotlk Realms you need a Wotlk Client
On Cata Realm you need a Cata Client
On MoP realm you need a MoP client...
... So, what client are you downloading and which one do you already have?
Also on what realm you wanna play?
