Character creation, performance and crashes

Hi!
It seems to be not possible to create a new character on my account besides my main: "error creating character". Some people advised in global to quickly press accept with base appearance settings and it worked. So i created a gnome (after trying million times) and logged in to starter zone only to realize that i have 15 fps tops. Seems like an obvious optimization issue since im having 40-50-60 fps during 25 man raids.
The other problem I had is wow crashes. The game crashed 3 times i think so far and always in Dalaran if im correct.

Are all these problems related to wod model reworks? If so please confirm and i will use the old client but i have to know for sure.

Yes they are related. Some of the races aren't available with the new models and crash. I remember someone making a new version, which I downloaded, but it didn't fix 100%. Draenei doesn't work. But, I only got crashes (Draenei) or bald heads (human). No issue with fps related. I will test a gnome here right now.

Update: Tested and kept 60fps just fine. Even in Dalaran with a night elf, I keep 60fps (Ragnaros). Also I can create any race and class even draenei too, but female human is still missing some hairstyles. Might redownload depending of how long you have that client. It has been updated over the time to include new water textures too.

So I downloaded this client from here about 2 months ago. Also this fps issue is weird because it went back to fix 60 for some minutes, then it dropped again to unplayable rates. Now it is 60 again... Character creation still does not work either.

Try the old client and see if the problem remains. Those issues with fps are more related to addons and graphic levels rather than the wod models.

i had the same problems as you described and i was informed to download the old client
Old client works perfect and i have 0 problems

you do not need to download "Wotlk old", you can "downgrade" your Wotlk with WoD models to "Wotlk old" by following this easy guide: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....the-old-client
