Does anyone ever buy gold?

I just had 200k gold returned to my mailbox today after having it listed in the Trade section of the Warmane coin store for five days. It was pretty disappointing-- especially considering it cost 11500 gold just to list it on there.

I kind of get the feeling there is not a whole lot of awareness about this feature on the website, especially given the number of people on global shouting about wanting to sell their gold for coins.



I'm thinking: Obviously people wouldn't continue to list gold on there if people never bought it. So I'm wondering now, has anyone here ever been successful in selling any amount of gold on the coin store Trade section? Have you ever bought any? I know a grand total of one person who buys gold on there once in a while.

Why should anyone buy gold from marketplace when its easy to obtain it in game?

Apparently somebody does, or it wouldn't be a thing.

It isn't easy to find them, just spam global that you wanna trade.. When you make a deal with someone THEN make the offer on marketplace

Trouble with that is, it's not possible to deal or negotiate much. The amount of gold you put up is given a fixed price that you can't change based on some predetermined formula written into the site's shop interface. I suppose I could try to find someone who is willing to buy a specific amount of gold for a specific price on coins.

I used to buy coins 16-18k per coin. They buy a coin for 12k on marketplace because its fixed and the rest i traded in game. Almost everyone was willing to trade like that.
