As some of you may know, the Server *** has a unique concept with their 3.3.5 realm. They are a progressive realm but for multiple expansions.
They can only level up to 60 and must clear all content before TBC is released ( Right now at BWL ) TBC is expected to be released June 2017. Its a very unique and fun server, but it just doesnt have the population to make it as fun as it could be with battlegrounds and RDF not happening as much as it could. I feel like if you guys made a server similar to theirs it would be amazing because you guys have the community to support it.
Um, you shouldn't mention other names of Private Servers on the Forums here, it's kind of disrespectful to the staff. You might wanna edit that out of your post before your thread gets locked or deleted and you get a warning.

Not disrespectful, but advertising for another server, which is against the rules.
It has low population because this whole idea of playing vanilla on 3.3.5 patch is kinda stupid, people who want vanilla play on 1.12 servers. Just look at Nost (may it RIP).
Lordaeron was locked at 60 for like what? 1-2 months? And most players got bored to tears because there was nothing to do...

The biggest issue with that is with the WotLK talent and spell systems, it's far easier to rip through the content than it was back in Vanilla. For example, a Ret Paladin with a full rotation, including Divine Storm, exists at level 60. This was nothing like the Ret Paladin of Vanilla. It's a lot like this for many other classes, and everyone saw it when Lordaeron was capped at level 60. People were doing the 40-man raids with 20-25 people. The raids that did pull together a full 40 players? Ripped through the content like it was nothing. Similar happened even in the TBC content.
People don't necessarily want a specific expansion. What they want is a specific experience, and the WotLK talents and spell systems take a great deal away from the Vanilla experience.

In other words what you're trying to say is, "You think you want Vanilla Servers, but you don't really want Vanilla Servers"?

This is probably the most important aspect of private servers in general. An attempt to visit nostalgia.

I realize this post is not a serious response, however in regards to this topic, Mercy is absolutely correct. While having later expansion talents on older content might seem like a novel idea, without adding a massive amount of custom changes, the content will be steamroll and unsatisfying for most players.
That is the reason why 60, 70, 80, 85 etc guilds on retail are practically extinct and why that other server is doing so poorly.

Pretty much what Bioness said. What I'm saying is that the people who want to play Vanilla want to play Vanilla, not a Vanilla clone using another expansion as a basis. It's terrible and doesn't provide the same experience that Vanilla offered.

I know what you said and what you meant, i was just being facetious. Sorry if that came across the wrong way.
