So, to clarify, there won`t be an 'existing user first' policy like it was hinted at sometimes earlier (ie, no new character creation for a set amount of time for existing players from either Rag or DW to claim their current names by transferring)?

So what have you been doing about the merge for the last five months, since it was announced (appart from the core switch)? Pretty much all you've said now was already said in the Expectations for 2016 thread released in january (it's now deleted as far as i can see).

There's a pretty significant difference between "doing stuff that causes a delay" and delaying it because we don't think it's necessary yet.

The announcement will happen right before the release, meaning after you get the next info, the wait will be very small. We rather prefer doing everything working without issues than a rushed released and see people complaining of everything.
