1. I need one advice !

Hi everyone,i want to play on this realm and I want to play as a healer, even when I lvl up.What healer should I make ? I wanna try tp lvl up by doing mostly dungeons...

  2. Disci priest seems to be good for you (just take 3points in shadow tree at the beginnin for regen)

  3. A druid or shaman healer would level pretty similar to balance or elemental, but just a lot weaker. As priest you'll be relying basically on holy fire and smite, with either holy or disc talents as long as you have Spirit Tap from shadow. Holy paladin leveling is horrible, don't try it :D

  4. If you really want to go questing as healer i think disc priest is only reasonable way... with actually good dps and survival.

Resto druid isnt bad either, but at higher lvl u will suffer from missing crucial spells.

If you are going to lvl with grp of friends then go shaman. Imo easieat heal before outland.

  5. I definitely agree with the previous posts about disc priest being the most viable healer-leveler, but I'll give my two cents from recent experience. I leveled a druid to 80 on this server and loved it. I started feral as that is the obvious choice for leveling a druid solo. My friend (warr) joined me in leveling so I switched to a boomkin build. This was the best choice ever, not only did we steam roll mobs/dungeons with insane damage, but my heals from my boomkin gear were more than sufficient for every instance/quest I attempted from 1-80.

So, with that being said, you should really choose which class you WANT to play and not which is the most viable. You'll have fun no matter which you choose. Good luck, and enjoy!

  6. One advice: Do not try to pet a wild cobra. There you go. =)

ok.. on topic.. Any hybrid class with any spec can pretty much heal any dungeon. If you want to play as a healer throughout the whole leveling process, I would suggest holy priest. Holy priest is great for few reasons. Holy is better than shadow when leveling solo until lvl50 (or even 60) and it is great for healing dungeons. Choosing holy will give you the best spec for both solo questing and dungeon healing. The best gear for holy priest when leveling is spellpower + spirit gear and it's the best gear for both solo questing and dungeon healing.

For talents: Put 3 talent points in to spirit tap from shadow and then take any talents you want from holy tree (I recommend taking talents that increase smite/holy fire damage). Even if you want to only heal dungeons, I still recommend taking the spirit tap, one kill here and there with wand or mind blast will help your mana a lot through the dungeon.

Only healing can be problematic, because you need to gather the groups and can't use the group finder. It is very possible that you will get bored and will want to start questing while waiting for group to gather, holy priest is perfect for this.

In the end, it's all about your preference, choose whichever class you feel like, all can perform well.

Edit: I notice there is some posts above claiming that disc is the best, I don't know why that would be, any healing spec will be more than capable of healing all instances, even with bad geared tanks. Disc uses the same spells as holy, but the damage buffs from holy are way better than from disc, also holy gives you amazing spellpower from spirit talent. Maybe after getting bigger cooldowns at later levels and penance, maybe then disc is better, but before that I see no reason to go disc over holy, that is for healing and for damage. This is the build that I recommend: http://wotlk.openwow.com/talent#bZfxt0bbqbZh
