1. Random Stutter/Freezing occurring in-game

I have some random stutter/freezing happening on Ragnaros whilst i switch zones, open bags, loot enemy, etc. It is fairly random but happens most frequent when i perform those tasks. Does anyone have a solution for me?

I have a new laptop that i just purchased for college. Problem doesn't seem to occur on my Desktop. But this WoTLK version is a fresh download.
    Specs:

    intel core i7 6700HQ 6th generation processor
    16GB DDr4 2133MHZ
    GTX 970M 3GB Dedicated GDDR5
    256GB SSD (OS)
1TB 5400 RPM HDD (Game location)
    Running Windows 10 Home
Also using ethernet cord and ping runs at about 105 MS

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

  2. That's just your HDD reading things far away from the actual "arm" position.

Check if the antivirus is scanning for things, sometimes that alone can occupy 100% of your cheap HDD.

Else, use your ssd, buy a faster hdd or just accept that!

  3. Try defragment your hdd and clean registry. Try update your old drivers and check malwares in your PC.

Edit: When this lags will continue post here your CPU usage while wow lags.

    Don't listen to this guy.
Your pc is new, theres no fragmentation and your registry is clean (also, clean utilities are a nice way to install bad **** on your pc).

    Let alone malwares and botnet..

And, like I already stated, when your game is stuttering in specific cases like that, it's a HDD problem, the rest of the game is waiting for that icon on your bag not already cached and it will freeze.
CPU, especially an i7 on a 2006 game, is not a problem.

I dont think its HDD problem when PC is new... when you run blizzard game on your pc first time then you get some files which can have problems with registry like folder Common Files in system folder(dont delete it) or in graphic driver folder. When i first time played mop i had same lags but i fixed it fast in my graphic driver settings and compability wow.exe
