    Suddenly a 2000 person Queue?

Not complaining, just curious. I was playing away here for weeks and never had to wait in a queue. Then overnight, after they raised the capacity even, there is now a queue of ~2000 to get in? Really? Did 20,000 new folks just suddenly sign on here or what? Yeah, that queue is just too big/long (it's longer than my available play time), and will force me to go elsewhere.

Google "Blizzard private server", there were several things that happened over the past few weeks to cause this massive influx of people.

    Also Ulduar came out.

It is because a big private server was shut down by blizzard a few weeks ago. (You don't have to worry about blizzard doing it to warmane tho, I think warmane got it all under control - If you got worried because of the other server^^).

Also I think a lot of people quit retail WoW now a days, because of a lot of focus on the private server community compared to before.

I knew about the vanilla server getting closed, but after a few weeks it didn't seem to have much effect, then suddenly, huge queues overnight...and oddly after I read something about increasing the capacity, which if anything should have reduced queues. Yes, I can't imagine playing retail now. It is just really bad, boring, pointless.

Anyway, sadly, I can not play here because of the new queue. I wonder how many others are like me and will just move on and if that will have the reverse effect on the server and cause it to dry up, go empty and blow away.

They didn't shut them down, they closed on their own.
Besides, its likely some of those people and some new.

Because of the que that usually is only on Sundays or peak EU times? If the que is such a big deal then donate and use your coins to skip the log in que.

I don't know if you are aware of this, but you can skip queue for 2 months if you donate 10 euros.

    This.

People seem to forget this, but Nost did not got shut down, they closed after a they got letter from blizzard. I cannot blame them, no one likes to go to court or get sued. And it's a potentially very costly and complicated road. But it's not like blizzard actively went there and shut them down.

They basically went " **** it, we're not taking any risks".

I had not even thought about Sunday being more "busy". Good point. Got in fine today, Monday. I guess that is just the price you pay if you want to play on a server with good population then. See ya there.
