Technical Downloaded wotlk client, started wow.exe (not launcher), logged in and...

An update started inside game (as it happens after you log in, a counter from 0% to 100% appears). When it finished, I tried to open wow.exe again but it failed with a Client.cpp error... I am now re-downloading warmane game client but I would like to understand what happened so it does not happen again. I had the official battle.net client running in the background of Windows. Could this be related? I also used my warmane email to login. Thank you very much.

you need to log-in by using your Warmane Accont Name, not Email address or forum nickname.

by using the Email it start to upload to Cataclysm
