No. Just no. This is exactly why there are so many horrendous itemizations out there. If I received a report about that I'd be vouching for a druid or priest to win.
This is not the point. That item is really good and about bis, so why i cant have it?
Because 3/5 healers have more use for it than a DPS who would effectively lower the overall DPS by attempting to buff everyone just a little bit more.
Locks and mages who claim spirit as a primary stat are like ret paladins who claim SP as a beneficial stat because of their holy damage. Just because you benefit from it in some way doesn't mean you should stack it.

So, someone can explane me how i got banned for ninja loot, while doing "need" for a pally legs pvp on "group loot" in a voa25?, did an appeal ticket and got simply kicked off by "smith" that answered me sayng "u deserve the ban according to our standard"
http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=325598 according to this bost of the head gm i can't be classified as a raid ninja (cause ofc i'm not)
This is not correct in a pug raid, and btw can u explain me this:

It's happened this week in another 25hc.
Because this isn't cata, stats are stats regardless of the armor type. There's no penalty for not using your armor class.

Technically, that Belt is 2nd BiS for an Elemental Shaman. Hell, even for a Restoration Shaman in stats wise. Personally I like my restoration shaman to avoid some MP5 gear (including the belt as one of those pieces) so I would try to grab that belt as a temporary solution.
About the bracers you were originally ranting about;
The bracers are not your BiS and if you actually pay attention to the stats trade-off, even the ones from RS 25 Normal would suit your class better than the spirit ones. Also keep in mind that some leaders like to adjust the loot according to the classes that have more priority in item optimization in overall. As an example, back in the day when I used to raid lead pugs, I would always give priority to each class according to their BiS list. In this specific case I would overlook your Warlock as well and provide it to a healer, as Sixtyninee refered.
Here's what you should do from now on if you want to avoid this kind of uncomfortable situations;
- Once you join a pug state that you want to be aware about the loot rules. If anything is reserved, what's the item optimization the lead wants to do and what kind of approach for loot distribution he will have.
- Take a screenshot of every single question you did and answers to those same questions.
- If something similar to this happens, make a ticket reporting the situation with the screenshots of the loot rules being announced by the Raid Leader himself and with your questions as well.
When you have an official statement of a loot table provided by the Raid Leader himself and then he doesn't follow it - That's Ninja Loot. If this didn't happen, there were no rules about the loot table and the leader can do whatever he pleases with the loot since no official statements were done.
This is the question. Noone established some rules, they just do what they want, cuz they never will get a ban.
Btw thanks you all for your opinions. This post had this aim, "understand how to avoid those bad situation"
thanks a lot.
When you join a raid just ask for the rules, if they refuse to give any then leave it, if they do give rules then screenshot them in case they're needed later on.
Just another question.
If I enter in raid and talk with raid leader: do u will skip Professor? I need only him for smourne quest.
He answer to me: no
I accept to take id, we kill rotface and festergut and after them he calls BPC, and when I say to him that our accords were different he kiks me, it is acceptable? Is this cheat or not?

There's nothing in the rules about being required to kill bosses or kicking people. So unless you get the GM team to start babysitting people, and I highly doubt they will, then there's still no rule against it.
I would like to tell you a story that happend to my guild mate on Frostwolf then you can tell me who is right or wrong.
He made a Toes 10 man run with a few lower geared alts and some pugs from global. We set no loot rules and cleared the whole raid without much trouble. Then the loot for the last boss was being rolled for. The guy who won the helm token already had a better item equpied (at the time 522 ilvl Griveous head). My friend didnt agree that he should get the token because he already has a better item (Toes token gives you a 496 ilvl set item) so he gave it to the only other person that rolled for it because he had a blue head item and obviously needed it more. Two days later my friend got baned for 2 months for ninja looting.
Was this trying to be fair or being a ninja looter?
