I've been searching around without being able to find anything (maybe I'm bad at searching, sorry!), and I'm wondering if it is possible to obtain some of these items like magic rooster, pets etc?

Don't think so. Most of them are available in the store.

And if I buy an I scratched WOTLK TCG card can I redeem it ingame?

You can get rooster by getting r1 in 3v3 in the end of arena season. You can get murloc costume for participating in an warmane event. There was a 40v40 orcs vs draeneis event last year with lvl 1s and winners got murloc costume. :P

No it wont, most servers including this one has disabled the NPC's where you redeem the keys.
