WotLK PowerLeveling?

Hello,

I remember reading somewhere that power leveling is a bannable offense. I have a friend who just started playing recently and he is level 19. My question is can I run him through dungeons that are his level to help him level up?

no you can NOT do it if the mobs you kill for him are 10 level more than his level, basically the mobs he sees as "skull level"

So if he can see the levels of the mobs its fine? I found the rules and it states "- Powerleveling (to bring a low level char to a high level zone to rush its leveling)." So as long as the monster are in his level range its ok?

they need to be close to the range of your friend level, not your range.
so if your friend see the mob as "skull" you should NOT help him to kill the mob

the idea is, not to spoil the story - so, just move along with him, one-shot tagged animals/plants/humanoids/etc., but don't just go and aoe xp; even, follow some skipped lore quests being in the zone if you desire :)

We have both played the game multiple time on different servers so we know the questing. My other friends and I are currently leveling (really slowly) some characters together and doing dungeons along the way. They are currently around level 38. My other friend wants to join. I just wanted to boost him to around level 37-38, so we can dungeon together. I guess I can just help him through his quest.

you can run him through dungeons that he could normally do at his level. nothing wrong with that. people do it all the time.
