For buying characters - you have very comfortable character trade auction.

People who spam global with that are usually looking for something specific and there might be someone willing to sell exactly that without including the rest on the char. And that might not be available on trading at that moment.

For buying/selling boes - you have ingame auction house.

Global can still be used to buy/sell items cheaper or faster than on auction house, without the 5% cut and without waiting 1 hour for gold.

For recruiting - you have forum and respective forum sections.

I agree with this one since repeated guild recruitment spam is just annoying and the messages are usually long and take too much space in the chat.

Umm, nope, 90% are just saying "i'm selling my bis character on character auction, /w me to get his nickname'. Maybe it can help them to sell char faster, yet it has to be done in trade, not in global.

Trade chat only works if you're in one of the main cities while you can type in global regardless if your location.
Also nobody uses trade channel on Warmane >.<.

Gather all mongs in the ignore list -> prob solved.

It's the whole server , my ignore list isn't that huge . And the bandaid addons I just don't like .

I agree, there should be a different channel for guild recruit and leave global for raid recruitment

surely raid recruit can be done in the LFG channel.... would make sense seeing as you are looking for a Group or looking to fill a group *Just Sayin*

In my opinion guild spammers and trade spammers have to get chat block for 30min-1h every time they are caught in global. Because all they do - is just flooding.

Your missing the LFG channel for raids and instances also....

not sure what u want from global...

once the server has been open a few weeks things will calm down so I suggest everyone else calms down abit about it :P
